OneForAll URC6440 Simple 4 universal remote

Programming instructions for One For All URC 6430 (Simple 3) and URC 6440 (Simple 4) universal remote controls.

Direct code entry

Step 1: Press and hold the "SETUP" key for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.

Step 2: Select the device key (e.g., "TV") for the device type you wish to control.

Step 3: Enter the first 4-digit code listed for your brand. The LED will blink twice.

Step 4: Now, aim the remote at your device and press "POWER". If your device switches OFF, the OneForAll is ready to operate your device. If your device does not switch OFF, repeat this procedure with the next code listed for your brand.

SimpleSet code search

In order to help setting up your remote as easily as possible, these models feature 'Region Setting' which will configure the Brand-Set-List for SimpleSet specifically to your Region (e.g GB/IRL).

Right after inserting the batteries you should set your region: press and hold the number key corresponding to your region (e.g., "1" for GB/IRL) for 3 seconds. If successful, the TV LED will blink twice.

The region numbers are: 1 for Great Britain/Ireland, 2 for Germany, 3 for France, 4 for Spain, 5 for Italy and 6 for INT (all other countries).

If by mistake you selected the wrong "digit" (and therefore the wrong Region) it is possible to reset this: first, press and hold "SETUP" until the TV LED blinks twice, then press and release "POWER", then press and hold the digit that corresponds your Region (e.g. "1" for GB/IRL) for 3 seconds.

To search for your code with SimpleSet:

Step 1: Make sure your TV is switched on.

Step 2: Press and hold "SETUP" for 3 seconds. The LED will blink twice.

Step 3: Select the device key (e.g., "TV") for the device type you wish to control.

Step 4: Press and hold the digit key assigned to your brand (e.g., "9" for a Samsung TV - see the tables below) until your device switches OFF. Release the digit key as soon as your device switches OFF.

Note: If your device does NOT switch OFF, repeat steps 2, 3 and 4.
