If you primarily use one device for controlling sound (for example a Sound Bar), it's possible to program your ONN 100020904 remote to only control that device when you use the "VOL+", "VOL-" and "Mute" keys.
To lock the volume keys to one device:
Step 1: Hold down the "SETUP" key until the LED under the device key blinks twice.
Step 2: Type in "9" "9" "3". The LED should blink twice.
Step 3: Press the device key for the device to always control volume, for example, "AUDIO". The LED will blink twice. From now on, pressing the "VOL+", "VOL-" or "Mute" keys will always control the programmed device under this key, no matter what mode you're in.
To unlock the volume and return the remote to controlling each device's sound individually:
Step 1: Hold down the "SETUP" key until the LED under the device key blinks twice.
Step 2: Type in "9" "9" "3". The LED should blink twice.
Step 3: Press "VOL-". The LED will blink 4 times and volume is now unlocked.
Your ONN 100020904 remote control can learn any function from any other working remote control. This is a quick and easy one-time setup that allows you to control any IR controlled device you have. It also allows you to add a key or keys that may be missing to a spare key.
To learn functions, the original remote should be placed approximately 2-5 cm from the ONN remote, pointing towards it.
Step 1: Press the device key you want to learn functions onto (e.g., "TV", "STREAM", "STB" "AUDIO", "DVD", etc.).
Step 2: Hold down the "SETUP" key until the LED under the device key blinks twice.
Step 3: Type in "9" "7" "5". The LED should blink twice.
Step 4: Press and release the key you want to learn a function onto (for example the "Power" key). The LED will begin to flash rapidly.
Step 5: Press and release the corresponding key on the original remote, for example "Power". The LED will blink twice to indicate the key has been learned correctly.
Step 6: Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each key you want to learn.
Step 7: When you have learned all the functions you require, press and hold the "SETUP" key until the LED blinks twice.
Notes:
If you want to delete a learned function and return that key to its original state, do the following:
Step 1: Press the device key for the device your learned function operates.
Step 2: Hold down the "SETUP" key until the LED under the device key blinks twice.
Step 3: Type in "9" "7" "6". The LED should blink twice.
Step 4: Press the key you want to reset twice. The LED will blink twice to indicate that the learned function has been deleted.

Step 2: Press the device button (e.g., "TV", "SAT/CBL", "AUDIO", "B-RAY/DVD", "STREAM", "OTHER") you want to program. The "POWER" button's indicator light will blink once and will remain on.
Step 3: Enter a 4 digit code. If the code is valid, the "POWER" button's indicator light shuts off. If it flashes and then remains on, it means an invalid code was entered and you must re-enter the code.
Step 4: Test the "POWER", "VOL+/-", and other commonly used buttons. If all work, setup is complete. If not, repeat this process using a different code.
