The EASYTEL is a simple PILOT universal remote control for TV sets. It will control only the main functions like VOLUM +/-, PROGRAM +/-, ON/OFF, AV and MUTE.

Easytel direct code entry instructions

Step 1: Search the Easytel code for your TV using the search box above.

Step 2: Press and hold ON and MUTE buttons at the same time for two seconds. The LED indicator lights up.

Step 3: Enter the 4 digit code using the function keys: press VOLUM- for 1, PROGRAM+ for 2, VOLUM+ for 3 and PROGRAM- for 4. If an acceptable code is entered, the LED indicator will flash rapidly four times, otherwise it will go off immediately. If you can't find a working code for your TV, try the universal autosearch method described below.

Step 1: Turn on your TV set.

Step 2: Press and hold ON and MUTE buttons at the same time for 2 seconds. The LED indicator lights up.

Step 3: Press the STAND-BY button and keep it pressed until your TV turns off. The indicator LED will flash every time when different models are searched.

Step 4: When your TV turns off, stop pressing the STAND-BY button immediately. As soon as the OFF button is released that model is memorized and the LED flashes four times indicating the end of the AutoSearch operation. Turn on your TV again, and check if other functions work correctly. If the code does not have all functions, go to step 2 and search again. If all available codes have been searched through, the LED will flash four times to indicate the end of AutoSearch. The maximum search time is approximately 5 minutes.

Code discovery

To identify you TV code number after using AutoSearch, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Press and hold PROGRAM- and PROGRAM+ buttons at the same time for 2 seconds.

Step 2: The LED indicator blinks once, then it starts flashing. Count the number of flashes in each of the 4 digit code. The sum of short flashes indicate the number in that digit; it will be a pause of 1 seconds between digits.
